About Ella.
Ella is a recent graduate from Western Washington University where she majored in Journalism. During her time at Western, she served as Editor-in-Chief of Klipsun Magazine, Photo Editor at The Western Front, and as Lead Photographer at Western’s alt-weekly paper, The AS Review.
During her junior year, Ella was selected for a fellowship studying journalism and emerging democracy in Tunisia along with five of her peers at the Institut de Presse et des Sciences de l'Information. She worked as an intern at Grit City Magazine during the summer of 2020. Ella was awarded Reporter of the Quarter for her work as a reporter at The Western Front covering local breaking news in Fall 2019.
